Here is another young and very talented musician and student of our tradition. He may show up at festivals around here — I saw him at the Flag Pond convention recently — but his YouTube channel contains a wealth of well-played tunes worth checking out.

Preserving the folk music from the Appalachians of the old world
This Channel is dedicated to showcasing traditional Appalachian Old-Time tunes and songs on the Fiddle, Banjo, and Mountain Dulcimer, in the authentic and archaic styles from the rural communities of South-Central and Eastern Kentucky, Southwestern Virginia, West Virginia, and Western North Carolina, most of which coming from fiddlers who were born in the 1800s, as well as sharing the history and biography of the tunes and their sources.I also occasionally will post footage/audio that I captured from various gigs, jam sessions and music festivals.
