A big goal we had for the Canteen when we became its owners was to not only maintain but enhance it as a place where all would feel welcome and encouraged to share their stories and experiences with others while enjoying a refreshment. We began welcoming guests into the beer garden the day before Thanksgiving 2020. Within a few short weeks, we were amazed by and very excited about the diverse and fascinating blend of people we’ve been honored to host – this is exactly what we’d craved and hope to see much more of going forward.
