Carrie Morrison, a native of Louisville, Ky., has been playing piano since age seven, and has been performing in WNC as a singer/songwriter for more than 16 years. Carrie is known for melodically strong songs, ranging from the deeply emotional to the slightly silly. EPs and albums include Carolina Blonde (2013), Miles and Miles (2017), and The Neverwhere Sisters (2021). Carrie is currently working on another EP and another full length album, both due for release in 2024. She has had airplay on multiple radio stations, including WNCW, and enjoys collaborations with several local artists onstage and in the studio. Carrie performs solo, in duos with Andrew Thelston, JamieLeigh Bennett, and others, and also is a vocalist and keyboardist in The Andrew Thelston Band.
