Bruce’s musical roots can be traced back to the 1950’s and include a love of Pop, Rock, Country, Bluegrass and Reggae. He started his musical career at 16, drumming in a cover band and picked up guitar a couple years later. In college Bruce began performing regularly and once opened a show for the legendary B.B. King. After graduating he joined up with his buddy Rick Taylor to form the Atlanta-based Indie Rock band, Right as Rain. This band released two albums on DB Records. Right as Rain performed at the historic CBGB’s in New York City and Austin’s South by Southwest music festival.

Bruce is currently working on an album of original songs to be released soon. These songs blend a serving of rootsy folk with a dash of electric guitar, covered in a twangy Americana sauce, a combination inspired by musical heroes—The Beatles, Bill Monroe, Bob Marley, Flatt and Scruggs, Bruce Cockburn, Dan Fogelberg, and more. He enjoys mixing traditional acoustic classics with originals, old country and quirky obscure tunes that you need to hear. Come see what he’s all about. You’ll leave with a smile on your face.
