Byrds and Crows is an acoustic band based out of the mountains of Western NC
featuring music that draws from bluegrass, folk, old country, in addition to a little
Americana, as well as, writing a few originals. Kenny and Sheila Byrd played
together for years and were always looking for a banjo player. Their son Will Byrd
decided to pick up the banjo at age 17 and he hasn’t slowed down since! He
minored in bluegrass music at ETSU while taking an interest in handcrafting
acoustic guitars. The Byrd’s pulled in two of their good friends, Andy and Joe,
and they became the Crows.
