Originally from rural Virginia, Erin has been writing songs and playing music since she was a kid. Erin was part of the Charlottesville-based band Belle Starr, which had a small but devout following in the Shenandoah Valley and toured on the East Coast, and in Ireland. After moving to Nashville for grad school, she played bars and songwriter’s showcase nights. Erin now devotes most of her time to her “straight job” and her two young kids, but has found a lot of joy playing local gigs, including Open Folk at the Funkatorium in Asheville.
