Matthew James and Clara are a brother (17) and sister (16) duo who reflect the old time music tradition native to southern Appalachia and Transylvania county. As children, they learned the music they play today and carry forward the traditional music of Appalachia; standing firmly on the shoulders of many generations from Transylvania County who have come before. Enjoy hearing fresh versions of tunes that have rung in these hills since North Carolina was loyal to King George of England!
