Owen Grooms Monday Music Series Presents: Haden Rhea and Potluck
November 17 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Born in Western North Carolina, Haden Rhea is a very talented fiddle player who is not afraid to try new things. She grew up being taught how to love and respect the outdoors. Her loving mother took on the responsibility of her education from the very start, not just with academics, but by setting the example of good morals and a love for music. Haden began her fiddle journey at the age of three, and joined the Transylvania County JAM Program at the age of eight. Her fiddle journey only grew from there. Haden is now an instructor with JAM, and enjoys passing on the roots music to the next generation. Thanks to support from the Cedar Mountain community, she has been to the first two Casey Driessen Blue Ridge Fiddle Camps, and both experiences were life-changing for her. Haden also plays music with her sister, Aria, and her cousins whenever she gets the chance.
