Josh Carter and Owen Grooms form a dynamic duo of roots musicians who explore old time mountain tunes, country, blues, and rock and roll, while also writing their own music inspired by the mountains they call home. Josh Carter switches between mandolin and octave mandolin, while Owen plays various banjos. They both offer powerful lead vocals, and often harmonize with each other. Together, they form a unique sound that blends traditional and original, with sparse, yet beautifully simple, arrangements.
