Marc Brown returns to the  Cedar Mountain Canteen to share his collection of old songs by interesting people. Cool old tunes you never knew you knew. Think Acoustic blues, Old Classic Country, Swing  and American Songbag……  Think Led Belly and Tommy Dorsey visit Gene Autry’s  front parlor…..  What??  Guitar , harmonica, resonator,  soulful vocals, and weird whistling with a good story in between. Quite possibly a mystery guest??? Marc is a frequent performer in the area. While not apologetic for his Yankee roots, he has ‘seen the light’ to a better way of life in Western NC.

We are also hosting a community potluck this evening and every Monday from 6–8 pm. Please bring a dish to share and your own non-disposable place setting. If you cannot bring food, for any reason, we are happy to feed you. We look forward to sharing a meal together.
