In the spring of 2021, after recently receiving their first covid shots, these 5 musicians came together to play music in a group setting for the first time in over a year. The joy and optimism of the moment are captured in these recordings. The name Tune Hash is inspired by the mix of musicians from different bands, as well as a shared love of breakfast foods. Tune Hash competed and took 4th in the Clifftop 2022 Traditional Band finals, and the members have collectively won dozens of prizes at fiddle, banjo, guitar, and band contests all over, as well as a JUNO. Amy and Mark took 3rd at the Clifftop 2023 Traditional Band contest as Golden Shoals.
