Meet George. He is our newest publican (The keeper of a public house or tavern). George is also a professional actor and has agreed to host our storytelling series, which will be held every other Friday.
We hosted our first storytelling event on Friday, September 27th, the eve of the anniversary of Hurricane Helene. The topic was Helene.

As storyteller after storyteller came up and shared, I experienced a deep gratitude for those who came to share their stories and the fact that we are still here. I felt connected to people I have never met before and was able to enjoy conversations with them at a level I was not able to just an hour before.
The power of listening, deeply, left me in awe. Sharing a space dedicated to fostering intimate exchanges publicly, connected me to those who came together in a deeper way.
Our hearts beat as one.
