Right now is the time to thoroughly enjoy rich dark beers. It is also a great time to dive into a fresh or wet hopped ipa. We are on the tail end of that season but there are still of them available. Sierra Nevada Celebration is one of the finest fresh hopped beers I know of. It is absolutely delicious. We have 2 more cases of it on the way and I am definitely buying some and bringing it home.

Fonta Flora Oyster Stout is by far one of my favorite beers. It is absolutely delicious and the mouthfeel is perfect. Seriously. We have it on draft and in 4 packs. That one is also going home with me.

The third in this trinity of delight is BirdSong Mexicali Stout. Waiting impatiently to get some. They do pepper beers fantastically.
