Old Time Resource of the Week:  Soundcloud

This will take some digging and experimenting on your part, but there are some gems buried here.  Any keywords you search for will return as many puzzling false hits as actual old time music.  I had pretty good luck with “fiddle banjo”  You could also search for song titles.  For instance “sugar in the gourd” turned up a Mary Gordon track!   If you find anything good, please share!  (You might even run across this guy.)
