RIVER SONG Lyrics

By Jenn and Owen

I hear the river calling-would you take me back there-lay my body under the flow burdens washed away now my spirits made whole-now I’m beginning to know

We could go build a fire-we could just be together- I know you’re down and under the weather -stay awhile-I think you’d find your smile- stay awhile my friend.

It can be a slippery slope-trying to help somebody find hope-lead them to the water but you can’t push them in-sit them by the fire but you can’t warm their soul

We could go to the river-we can just be together-I know you’re sad and you’ve been better -stay a while-I think you’d find your smile-stay awhile my friend

Ever had a real good friend? Wrap their arms around you and tuck you in-ever had a real good friend-stand beside you to the end

Thanks Jenn and Owen for sharing their gifts with our community.  We are richer for it.  Did you know Owen is an employee-owner of the Canteen?

You can support them by purchasing their album(s) on bandcamp.

Why bandcamp?  They give the artists the most money from the sale.

Listen to the song above.
