When we lived in Winston-Salem, WPAQ was just an AM radio station out of Mt. Airy.  We could pick it up barely well enough to listen but we listened faithfully.  The founder, Ralph Epperly, was still with us then and he was thoroughly committed to keeping traditional music on the air.  It’s still a radio station but now its programming can be heard world-round.  Check it out.
