The Old Time Herald – online and complete

This week’s resource is a doozy! Thanks to Bob Buckingham for the heads up.
All the back issues of The Old Time Herald are now available online.
Started in 1987 and spearheaded/edited by the inimitable Alice Gerrard, this magazine has been a nerve center for the old time community.
There is a double wealth here: much of the content is about the history of the music, while the coverage of festivals, camps, “new” bands and recordings documents the evolution of “old time” itself as it emerged and evolved.
You can search for names or other keywords or just pick an issue and leaf through it.
