Old Time Resource of the Week:  Adam Hurt’s Online Jam YouTube channel

Wow!  What a good resource for learning and playing tunes.  The one I watched had Adam on fiddle and Beth Hartness on guitar.  They played eleven D tunes, many of which we play.  The others would be welcome additions.  I counted 22 episodes lasting from 90 to 120 minutes!  Each episode features one or two keys in one or two fiddle tunings — A, D, G, C, A modal.  The versions are very clear and the guitar backup is excellent.  They give information about the tune and sometimes play it through slowly to make it easier to pick up.  And evidently there’s a spreadsheet you can request that tells which episode a given tune can be found in.  Highly recommended.
