The Plaid Mountain Boys are Tim Gardner, Bennett Sullivan, Jonathan Gray and Owen Grooms. The Plaids play rip roaring fiddle tunes, bluegrass standards, rare old-timey gems, and some bluesy, jazzy grooves thrown in there as well. Tim Gardner is the fiddler for Unspoken Tradition, a great regional bluegrass band that is making a name for themselves with impeccable musicianship, songwriting and arrangements. Bennett Sullivan plays with the Sam Grisman Project, Woody Platt and Shannon Whitworth, among others, and this is a rare chance to catch him playing acoustic guitar. Jonathan Gray has played with many different bands and currently plays with Amanda Shires and Pretty Little Goat among others.
