Lyle de Vitry a composer and songwriter living in Asheville, NC. Formally trained as a classical cellist and vocalist, his body of instrumental work is largely informed by the Baroque and Romantic periods. Beyond his own compositions, he is passionate about performing modern interpretations of Bach on the cello, as well as vocal art songs, with his charming and dulcet tenor range. His debut instrumental album will be recorded this August and will consist of richly rhythmic and melodic solo guitar pieces, in addition to his first string quartet.
