Adrianne Blanks & The Oracles blend swing, Latin, pop and jazz with witchy undertones of psychedelic rock and seductive soul.

Inspired by the colorful world of Jacques Demy and evocative of the 1960s, the band provides a soundtrack to Adrianne’s speakeasy storytelling. Bringing both the swankiest and the grittiest sounds of the 60s spotlighting songs with a spellbinding feel by The Zombies, The Turtles, The Beatles, Francoise Hardy, and Serge Gainsbourg.

Adrianne Blanks is the lead singer of Adrianne Blanks & The Oracles. Her music has been heard on WNCW, 98.1 The River, Buzz Radio Asheville, WTZQ and Asheville FM. She has played with her band, Adrianne Blanks & The Oracles at The NC Arboretum, The Grey Eagle, One World Brewing West, Restoration Hotel, Sweeten Creek Brewing, The Asheville VeganFest as well as the Nashville VegFest, Georgia VegFest, Primavera Roadhouse in Lansing, NC, Cedar Point Amusement Park in OH, and both the Golden Dagger and Epiphany Center for the Arts in Chicago, as well as Navy Pier.

Adrianne maintains an active career singing both her original music and championing some of her favorite songwriters. She is a published model and was a cover model for Appalachian Life Magazine. She has been in the Top 20 most requested songs on Buzz Radio Asheville and has been interviewed on Asheville FM.

Her music video & song release “The Holly & The Ivy” was a recent recipient of Best Costumes & Wardrobe at Music Video Asheville, and was featured by Enchanted Living, The Wild Hunt, Pagan Pages, The Missing Witches Podcast, and The Cosmic Cousins podcast.

Dillon Young has a unique, expressive voice on the guitar, rooted heavily in the blues. His playing draws from delta and electric blues, decades of jazz tradition, as well as influences of Zydeco, Classic Country, Neo-soul, Gospel, and Latin music. Epiphany Arts and Navy Pier in Chicago, Marked Tree Vineyard’s La Vie en Rosé Festival, and Witchlab and Cedar Point Amusement Park in OH are a few of the places he has appeared with Adrianne Blanks and the Oracles.

Born in Louisiana, Dillon has played in bands and made music across the Deep South, including his home state, Texas, Mississippi, Georgia, and North Carolina. The wide range of cultures and musical dialects have informed his sound and developed nuance in his playing. Still, as far as taste, grit, and emotional connection, nothing showcases this guitarist quite like a slow, electric blues.
