Folk-pop artist, Carly Taich, writes about doubt, faith, fear, and love in a way that isn’t off putting or boring. Her lyrics, framed by swooning violins and catchy, unusual melodies, take us to another era, or dimension, where honesty reigns and forgiveness is free. There is a storybook mysticism to all Carly produces, with one foot planted in this reality. The paradox between the two worlds leaves listeners wondering if she is inviting them into a dream or attempting to wake them up.

A multi-award winning songwriter, Carly has become a known name in her hometown of Asheville, NC and beyond. Her 2020 EP, It Tends to Glow, was featured by NPR and American Songwriter, and Blurt Magazine named her debut 2017 record, Reverie, “a start-to-finish, no-filler/all-killer gem—a veritable calling card to greatness if enough ears find it.” In December 2022, she crowd-funded her sophomore album.

Carly’s crystal clear voice rings like a bell in the night: “Out with the tragic, in with the magic, something feels different now. Light in the darkness, calm in the chaos, give me a likeness to Thou…”

And everyone’s invited to answer.
