Born in Western North Carolina, Haden Rhea is a very talented fiddle player who is not afraid to try new things. She grew up being taught how to love and respect the outdoors. Her loving mother took on the responsibility of her education from the very start, not just with academics, but by setting the example of good morals and a love for music. Haden began her fiddle journey at the age of three, and joined the Transylvania County Junior Appalachian Musicians Program at the age of eight. Her fiddle journey only grew from there. She has been playing with the JAM Ensemble for three years and is now teaching with JAM. Haden also loves to sing, play banjo and guitar, and is beginning to write songs.
