Crow is Susie Jermain Rowlette, a self-taught banjo picker and singer-songwriter from Georgia. She writes simple songs of an Appalachian Gospel/Blues/Folk quality. They have been described as sounding very old, and all are based on true stories of places, people, animals, rivers, and ghosts.
