Saturday evening during Cedar Mountain’s Downtown Whimsical Festival we got to enjoy Jake Blount’s band as they closed out Saturday’s line up of music. Jake was joined by Gus on guitar and Nelson on bass and they were amazing. Folks were dancing and celebrating and listening. It was joyous.
Jake played the day before at the Earl Scruggs music festival and as a result we were not permitted to advertise his name due to a vicinity clause in our contract. We were permitted to spread the word through word of mouth and that was all it took.
Thanks to everyone who came out and celebrated together. We are grateful to have such a joyous community. Thanks also for being a wonderful listening audience. So many artist comment on what that means to them and the type of performance the delivery as a result. It really is beautiful magic.
