Come celebrate the release of Jenn and Owen’s third album at the Canteen! They will play all of the songs on their brand new Gourd Banjo album, as well as other Canteen favorites.

This album is a sonic retreat to simplicity and features only gourd banjo and vocals. Jenn and Owen recorded this music to tape with Bennett Sullivan and Nick Dauphinais mixed and mastered the music. Gourd banjos were the original banjos created and played by people of African descent in the Americas, and have a very unique, earthy and deep sound.

We will be hosting a potluck dinner this evening. Please bring a non-disposable place setting and a covered dish if you are able. If you are unable to bring something, for any reason, we are happy to feed you, and also to provide a place setting. We are a pack it in, pack it out public house and ask you take everything you bring in, out with you. Many thanks.
