David Dozier is a local carpenter, potter, and artist. He has recently ventured into making masks, luminaries, and paintings. His masks are made from large palm fronds sourced in New Orleans and embellished with natural materials- most found locally. David’s paintings are done on canvas, repurposed rusty roofing, and plywood. David has also made some luminaries from locally grown gourds and bamboo. Swing by and admire David’s incredibly creative use of materials in his art on display for sale at The Canteen.
