YouTube channel: Hoedown History

YouTube has been recommending these videos to me but I avoided them. Why? Because I had been burned by some similar-looking “music history” videos that were pointless, repetitive, disjointed, and a waste of my time — aka AI slop.

But the Hoedown History video on St. Anne’s Reel “reeled” me in and now I want to go back and watch the others. It’s clearly not AI — the producer defends himself against that claim on Banjo Hangout and on his channel.

There are 37 tunes covered so far — almost all of which we play around here.  They vary in length from under five minutes to almost thirty.

This is good use of the Internet, folks.  Enjoy!  Maybe he’ll help us get to the bottom of the pig’s foot mystery.
