Several months ago we invited members of our community to get together in a focus group setting and discuss ways we can improve our community arts program and improve the quality of life of the artists who provide us with so much.
Over a dozen community members came together and so many ideas were collected, we instantly started implementing them. The first was to allow the community to contribute through subscriptions or one time donations. We want to keep the arts available to everyone, regardless of income and this approach facilitates that.
We piloted that program with the group (we now call our steering arts group) and the response has been heartwarming.
The group met again and it was decided to open the subscriptions and donations to the community. So here we are!

Community Supported Arts is a program that brings artists to our community with the help of our community. It helps us provide a quality of life to artists that we can only provide with additional community support.
